SCREENER FEATURES
FEED DEFLECTION SYSTEM + FLOW CONTROL WINGS
- The FEED DEFLECTION SYSTEM combined with FLOW CONTROL wings is designed to ensure more uniform screening of materials in process. These systems enable material to enter the screener evenly, optimizing the efficiency of the operation. The FLOW CONTROL wings, unique and exclusive to the 78VFRB - W model, play a crucial role in controlling the flow of material, allowing larger particles like stones and other objects to pass through smoothly. These wings are adjustable, accommodating different material sizes, and then returning to their original position, ensuring consistent performance.
- Adjustable Wings: The system allows for adjustment depending on the material being screened, ensuring optimal performance for various material types.
- Uniform Material Flow: The FEED DEFLECTION SYSTEM ensures that material enters the screener evenly, leading to a more consistent screening process.
- Exclusive Design: The FLOW CONTROL wings are unique to the 78VFRB - W model, providing specialized functionality that enhances the screening process.
- Handles Larger Particles: The system effectively manages larger particles like stones, allowing them to pass through without disrupting the screening process.
- Self-Adjusting Mechanism: The FLOW CONTROL wings can accommodate different material sizes and then return to their original position, maintaining smooth operation.
- Enhanced Screening Efficiency: By controlling the flow of material more precisely, the system reduces clogging and ensures a more efficient screening process.
TILTING SCREEN DECK
- The TILTING SCREEN DECK is a unique and exclusive system to DeSite Screeners. We understand that depending on the moisture level of a material, it can be a real headache, as high moisture content can slow down material flow or even cause it to stick to the mesh, clogging the screener. That's why we designed a system that allows direct contact between the bucket of your equipment and the screener. This feature enables you to adjust the tilting screen deck when material adheres to the mesh, allowing it to flow smoothly and continue the screening process effectively. The deck's slope ranges from 30 to 45 degrees, giving you the flexibility to adjust it to your convenience based on the material being processed and its moisture level.
- Exclusive DeSite Technology: The TILTING SCREEN DECK is a unique and proprietary system exclusive to DeSite Screeners, offering advanced functionality.
- Adjustable Slope: The deck's adjustable slope ranges from 30 to 45 degrees, allowing you to customize the angle based on the material's moisture level and type, optimizing screening efficiency.
- Enhanced Material Flow: The system enables direct contact between the bucket of your equipment and the screener, helping to dislodge material that sticks to the mesh and ensuring a smooth screening process.
- Reduces Clogging: By allowing adjustments to the screen deck, the system effectively reduces clogging caused by high moisture content, minimizing downtime.
- Increased Flexibility: The ability to tilt the screen deck provides greater control over material flow, making it easier to manage challenging materials and maintain consistent screening performance.
- Improved Efficiency: The tilting mechanism allows for real-time adjustments, ensuring that material flows smoothly, even under varying conditions, leading to more efficient operations.
CANTILEVERED SPRING SUSPENSION SYSTEM
- The CANTILEVERED SPRING SUSPENSION SYSTEM is a crucial component of the Tilting Screen Deck. This system allows you to move the screen deck using your bucket, creating an action-reaction mechanism that ensures optimal material flow, even when high moisture levels cause materials to become stuck. This design guarantees a consistently efficient screening process. Additionally, the system requires minimal maintenance and is built for long-lasting durability.
- Crucial Component: The Cantilevered Spring Suspension System is an essential part of the Tilting Screen Deck, enabling efficient operation.
- Action-Reaction Mechanism: This system allows you to move the screen deck with your bucket, creating an action-reaction effect that helps dislodge materials that become stuck due to moisture.
- Ensures Optimal Flow: The design ensures that even when materials are wet and sticky, they can still flow smoothly, maintaining an optimal screening process.
- Minimal Maintenance: The system is designed for minimal upkeep, reducing downtime and maintenance costs.
- Durable Design: Built for longevity, the system is engineered to withstand rigorous use and ensure lasting performance.
POWER BOX
- Starting with a durable 25ft, 10-gauge electrical cord, our system connects securely to a watertight power box designed for reliability. Inside the power box, a bus bar and starting capacitor store the necessary energy to power the vibratory pack, which rapidly spins the dual eccentric armature up to 3600 RPM, generating a centrifugal force of 560 ft/lbs. This force is then effectively transferred through the vibratory motor mounting plate, vertical tubes, and across our crowned and side-tensioned screen mesh. The screen deck is specifically engineered to withstand the harmonic vibrations essential for keeping material moving smoothly across the surface.
- The SLG 78VF can be powered by standard 120-volt electricity, provided the distance from the power source is under 75ft and a heavy-duty 10-gauge electrical cord is used, ensuring flexibility and convenience in various operational settings.
- Heavy-Duty Electrical Connection: Our system begins with a robust 25ft, 10-gauge electrical cord, designed to connect securely to our watertight power box.
- Efficient Power Management: Inside the power box, a bus bar and starting capacitor are housed, storing the necessary energy to initiate the vibratory pack's rotation.
- High-Performance Vibratory Pack: The vibratory pack rapidly accelerates the dual eccentric armature to 3600 RPM, delivering a powerful centrifugal force of 560 ft/lbs.
- Effective Vibration Transfer: Once at full speed, the vibratory pack transfers its energy through the motor mounting plate, vertical tubes, and across our specially designed crowned and side-tensioned screen mesh.
- Engineered for Durability: The screen deck is meticulously engineered to withstand the harmonic vibrations required to maintain continuous material movement across the deck.
- Versatile Power Options: The SLG 78VF can be operated using standard 120-volt power, provided the distance from the power source is under 75ft and a heavy-duty 10-gauge electrical cord is used.

ABOUT MESH
TALK ABOUT MESH
Square
- We offer a wide range of mesh that are quick and easily changed. The ability to install large and small high quality mesh makes DeSite SLG Screeners a time saver and money maker. We offer both square and elongated mesh pattern in a double lock crimp weave. Our double lock weave puts two crimps in each wire as they intersect, This creates a strong weave and a stronger, more stable mesh.

Elongated
- Our elongated pattern mesh is what we call a triple chute weave where a group of three wires intersect the main with wires. A space of four inches has full unobstructed opening before the next three wires intersect the mesh again. Our elongated pattern meshes are designed to handle higher moisture material when screening is more challenging. Hourly production are always considerably higher when elongated pattern mesh in in use.

QUICK CHANGE MESH SYSTEM
- One person can access and easily remove the mesh clamp bolts on each side and middle of the screener. At the bottom of the screen deck we have laser cut the plate to hold the mesh in place until you are ready to remove it. After removing the mesh simply install the new mesh and reinstall and tighten the bolts on each side.
